Need the ability to tag people on all social platforms, employees/connections, at a minimum!
Another user made a similar request–– and we definitely agree! Hubspot has admitted that they’re limited by LinkedIn’s API on this, so it’s kind of out of their hands… but it sure would be great to see that change someday soon!

Every company / social media manager who wants to not just publish content via Social Media HubSpot Interface but have interaction and engagement due to starting conversations. - What is their goal?
Driving engagement from the start. LinkedIn is about people and networking. Therefore it should be possible to @ mention experts, involve colleagues or give a shoutout to people in the industry. This is what Social Media is about, starting conversations and discussions.
It is more compliacted to automate in HubSpot and then go back to LinkedIn to alter the post to set the mention. - What value will this add?
Mentioning people instead of just company pages. - Are there examples of other places or products who have this feature?
Not sure but you already have the @mention for company pages. So you’re halfway there

Having the ability to @mention people gives would give our posts added reach. Currently, it’s annoying to schedule drafts and then go back into LinkedIn to add those @people mentions.
Exactly. And it’s also bad for performance due to the algorithm. Editing posts on LinkedIn (at least approximately in the first hour after posting) will lower your reach.

This functionality will be awesome and it does not seem like a huge lift. Auto-filling the profile in Hubspot social would give confidence that we’re @ mentioning the right person. I assume / hope that is part of the plan. Otherwise, the only way to be sure is posting directly on LinkedIn or via another social tool, and then the value of Hubspot social continues to be limited.
