Can't Find my company website when I Google my company name.

Hi All,
I successfully attached my domain to my Hubspot website. But when I try to look up my website (Broser Capital). It does not come up on google. How do make sure it’s on google when people look up my company name?
Thanks,

Roger

Hi Roger,

There are lots of things you can do to make your website visible on google search engine.

First, make sure Google knows about your website (Google Search Console), and more.

Hi @RSerruto,

If your company’s website is not appearing on Google when you search for your company name, there are several steps you can take to improve its visibility.

With the help of generative AI, here are the steps I would recommend:

1. Verify Your Site is Indexed by Google

First, check if your website is indexed by Google:

  1. Site Search:

    • Go to Google and type site:yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain).
    • If your site appears in the results, it means Google has indexed it.
  2. Google Search Console:

    • Sign up for Google Search Console.
    • Add and verify your site.
    • Check the “Coverage” report to see if there are any issues with indexing.

2. Submit Your Site to Google

If your site is not indexed, you can manually submit it to Google:

  1. Submit a Sitemap:

    • Create a sitemap (usually located at yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml).
    • In Google Search Console, go to “Sitemaps” and enter the URL of your sitemap.
  2. Request Indexing:

    • In Google Search Console, use the URL Inspection Tool to request indexing of your site or specific pages.

3. Optimize for SEO

To improve your site’s visibility, you need to optimize it for search engines:

  1. On-Page SEO:

    • Title Tags and Meta Descriptions: Ensure each page has a unique and descriptive title tag and meta description.
    • Keywords: Use relevant keywords naturally within your content, headings, and URLs.
    • Content Quality: Provide valuable, high-quality content that addresses your audience’s needs.
  2. Technical SEO:

    • Mobile-Friendly: Ensure your site is responsive and mobile-friendly.
    • Loading Speed: Optimize your site to load quickly.
    • Secure: Use HTTPS to secure your site.
  3. Local SEO:

    • Create a Google My Business profile for your company.
    • Ensure your business name, address, and phone number (NAP) are consistent across all platforms.

4. Build Backlinks

Backlinks from reputable sites can significantly improve your search rankings:

  1. Quality Content: Create valuable content that others want to link to.
  2. Outreach: Reach out to industry blogs, forums, and influencers to link back to your site.
  3. Social Media: Promote your content on social media to increase its reach and potential backlinks.

5. Monitor and Adjust

Regularly monitor your site’s performance and make adjustments as needed:

  1. Analytics: Use Google Analytics to track traffic and user behavior.
  2. Search Console: Regularly check Google Search Console for indexing issues and performance reports.
  3. Adjust Content: Update and improve content based on performance data and SEO best practices.

Additional Tips

  • Brand Mentions: Ensure your company name is mentioned in relevant online directories, industry sites, and social media.
  • Consistency: Use consistent branding and naming conventions across all online profiles and platforms.
  • Press Releases: Publish press releases for significant company updates and events to generate buzz and backlinks.

By following these steps, you should improve the chances of your website appearing on Google when users search for “Broser Capital.” SEO is an ongoing process, so continually optimizing your site and monitoring performance is crucial for long-term success.

Hope this helps!
