Can't edit currency exchange rate

Hi,

I can’t edit/change the exchange rate manually. I receive the following error. Any idea what’s wrong? I want to set the exchange rate to 1

In order to determine if this is a caching issue, could you try the following please:

  • Clear the browser’s cache
  • Attempt to edit the currency in a separate browser or in incognito
  • Disable any extensions or plugins within the browser

Thanks for trying those steps out!

Could you please confirm you are following the steps in this article here, to ensure that you are taking the same steps to manage currencies?

If you enter a different number under the exchange rate and click save, do you still see this error message?

I am following these exact steps. It’s pretty straight forward, but the same error message pops up when I try to change the exchange rate of the USD currency, which is not the default currency. I need the exchange rate to be 0 or 1.

Hi @MMuhl,

Thank you for providing details on the steps you took!

Can you confirm if you are a Super Admin in your account? In order to edit currencies, you need to be a super admin to edit currencies as outlined here and also have edit account defaults checked off in your user permissions.
