Hello everyone, I’m a newbie and sought help from Co-Pilot and Hubspot sales staff. No suggestions have worked. Problem: I did not activate Shopify when setting up the account so it is not an activated Integration. The Shopify Overview card is simply there. It will not fully load, instead cycles. Our startup is B2B so do not imagine ever using Shopify and it is wasting real estate. Seeking ideas for procedures to remove it.
If the Shopify integration was never fully connected, that card shouldn’t be showing, but sometimes HubSpot adds the card automatically during onboarding, and it just lingers if something glitched mid-setup. In this case, it’s likely not tied to any real integration, but the UI still treats it like it’s active.
Go to Connected Apps and double-check if Shopify is listed. If it’s there, try disconnecting it fully, even if it looks inactive. If it’s not listed, or removal doesn’t change anything, reach out to HubSpot Support and specifically ask them to manually remove the card from the CRM record sidebar. They’ve done this for other stuck cards before.
Unfortunately, there’s no user-facing way to remove those native cards unless the system thinks the integration is valid, even if it’s broken. And yeah, they take up space you can’t reclaim otherwise.
Hi folks, got help from Laura at Customer Support. Here’s the procedure:
- Go to Settings > Objects > Contacts > Record customizations.
- Edit the Customize left sidebar section.
- Add, remove, or reorder fields as desired for your Overview.
- Save and assign as needed.
