Problem Statement:
In HubSpot, users cannot create a contact list based on the “From Address” used in sent emails. The platform allows filtering by email activity (sent, opened, clicked) but does not offer an option to filter contacts by who the email was sent from. This makes it difficult to segment contacts by sender for reporting or follow-ups.
Hi Aakash - this makes sense - is there a reason you want to do this type of filtering in Lists vs. Reports?
Hi bsievers ,
We have recently changed our email sending domain and are currently running a campaign to warm up the new domain.
As part of this process, we’re looking to identify contacts who previously received emails from our old domain and engaged with them such as opened, clicked, etc. Our goal is to re-target these engaged contacts in the current campaign, as they are more likely to interact with emails from the new domain and help us build a strong sender reputation more quickly.
Right now, I’m handling this manually by selecting emails that have the “From” address with the old domain, then filtering contacts based on their interaction within a specific date range. This works for a few emails, but if there are 20–30 or more emails involved, it becomes a tedious task. I’d have to manually add each email to the list and set the date range and interaction criteria individually, which is time-consuming and inefficient.
Thanks
