I am trying to connect my first email sending domain (lipertekstil.com) to my free HubSpot account to authenticate my emails. This should be a free feature.
However, when I go to Settings > Domains & URLs and click the correct “Connect an email sending domain” button, I am incorrectly redirected to the “Marketing Hub Professional” upgrade page.
We have tried to clear any pending primary domain setups on the account, but the issue persists. It seems my account is stuck in an incorrect state and forcing me to upgrade.
Can you please check my account and fix this issue so I can connect my email sending domain as a free user?
Connecting and authenticating an email sending domain is indeed not possible on the free tier and requires Marketing, Sales, Service, or Content Hub Starter or higher, see the info box at the beginning of this article: Manage your email authentication
Thank you for clarifying the subscription requirements.
This policy change is unfortunate. We consider email domain authentication to be an essential requirement for professional communication, not an optional premium feature.
Given that this functionality is no longer available on the free tier, we will be seeking an alternative service provider that better aligns with our needs. Consequently, we will be discontinuing our use of the HubSpot platform.
