# Cannot clone a desing/template

Hi I am trying to clone a design in Hubspot and i get the following error “Could not clone desing/template”.

I do the same as described here in the paragraph “Clone templates,themes and modules”

What am I doing wrong? What else should i take into consideration before cloning a design?

I attempted to replicate the issue and find similar cases, but unfortunately, I could not find anything similar. In this case, my suggestion would be to[clear your cookies and cache](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/website-pages/clear-your-browser-cache), ensure that you have the correct permissions to clone design templates, and check that the template is not locked.

Hi,

thank you for your help. Unfortunatelly i still get the same error “Cannot clone Design”. I am a super-admin and the Design is not locked.

I also tried to create a child for the template and i could not create it. I get the message “Child could not be created for template”.

Any idea where the error could be?
