Can you import properties not in your CSV

For example. We get a bunch of contacts from a tradeshow but have a dropdown select so we don’t have “Tradeshow” and “Trade Show” as two values for the same property.

Is there a way to pick from this dropdown in Hubspot when importing from the new CSV without looking up what the dropdown value should be, pasting it into a new column in the CSV, then mapping it?

No, this is not possible. You would either have to add a column to your file or bulk edit after importing: Bulk edit records

not really about HubSpot

but you can have dropdowns in Excel

you can put all the current values in your HubSpot property

and that should solve the problem.

Everytime you add a new value in HubSpot, you should add the values in the excel dropdown too

but this shouldn’t take much time.
