# Can you de-associate objects through workflows?

Is it possible to de-associate? so we have the contact and the territory object, when a contact zip code is known it enrolls them in their respective territories. Is it possible when we change zip codes on a contact that it will enroll them and associate to their new territory and disassociate from the older territory?

Hi @cclark2,

Not with default workflow actions no - only remove associations labels. To remove an association, you have to create a custom code workflow action (available in Data Hub Professional and Enterprise), based on the Associations API.

Alternatively, this might be possible with third party integrations like Associ8.
