Can we see how many leads changed label

Can we see in HubSpot how many leads changed their labels this month in the form of a report or track it?

Not out of the box, no. You would have to create your own custom logic / automation here:

1. Create custom date property
2. Use a workflow that enrolls records upon change of association label
3. Use ‘Edit record’ to log date of change
4. Create report based on count of contacts by date property

@ISmolin you can break down the report by their current lead label. Since the date records the latest change, you would see to which label they moved, however not from which they moved. This is possible but would involve more assisting properties or custom code.

Yes, it’s possible to track how many leads had their labels changed this month in HubSpot, but it does take a bit of setup.

However, there isn’t a default report for this out of the box.

You’ll have to create a custom report using the property history of the label field you’re tracking.

Here’s a step-by-step to do it:

1. Go to Reports and select Create Custom Report.
2. Select Custom Report Builder.
3. Select the Contacts data source.
4. Then, you’ll have to add the label property you’re tracking.
5. You can utilize filters to show when that property changed within the time period (this month in your case).
6. Now, you can either group by the old vs. new values or choose to simply show a count of changes.

@himanshurauthan please elaborate on this – I am not aware of any settings that would allow for visualizing the history of fields in the custom report builder. Neither are association labels treated like a regular property. Am I missing something?

I put just 3 labels because we have overall 4 (incl. Attempting I created manually) and the starting point will be Attempting label - that’s why it is not counted here.
