Hey @tinnyRocks,

editing global modules and partials is definetely possible. The “how” always depends on your theme.

In general:

- All files are located in the Design-Manager
- If you’re using a default theme(from the @hubspot folder) or a marketplace and haven’t created a child-theme, you’ll need to create one to be able to edit the theme files.
- A theme structure depends on the developer(s) who created it. The most common folder structure contains a CSS folder with all the CSS files of the theme, a modules folder with all the theme specific modules(which also can contain CSS), a template folder which contains all templates, a JS folder for the JavaScript files and maybe something like an img folder for the theme images like preview images of the theme
- Furthermore there are a few very crucial files. For instance something like the base.html and the theme-overrides.css (both files might be named different). If something goes wrong with those files, you can be almost 100% sure that it will affect all of your pages - so be careful.

Creating a child-theme is something that is recommended as one of the very first steps while starting with a theme since redoing it afterwards can result in major changes to all of your pages.

If you haven’t created a child-theme already, the procedure is quite easy.

1. Locate your theme in the Design-Manager
2. Right-click on it
3. Select “Create child-theme”
4. Give it a proper name(I recommend to write in lowercase and replace spaces with “-” or “\_”)
5. Once the child-theme is created, clone the required files from the parent-theme to it
6. To clone a file from the parent-theme to the child one, simply right click it and select “clone to child-theme” - select the one you’ve created
7. Add your changes to the files in the child-theme files
8. If you already created some pages, you will need to edit all of them and move them to the child-theme

Best,

Anton
