No, at this point user object properties are not as integrated as other object’s properties. This is currently not possible.
However, your plan seems to be to visualize or analyze how many open tickets are assigned to a user – why not simply display count of tickets by ticket owner? If that doesn’t work, could you provide more context about your use case?
