My company recently purchased credits so that we can use the customer agent for qualifying leads - as it says it can do on the sales page.
Our hope was to use it offline to answer customer questions, qualify leads, and collect contact information. There doesn’t appear to be any way to do this.
Was thinking that maybe we could accomplish it via chatflow + customer agent, but it literally just does’t allow us to add the agent in a chatflow. Hitting the ‘save’ button does nothing.
Is there any way to accomplish this?
Hey @WeasellyWombat - thanks so much for posting in the Community!
I understand that you’re not currently able to embed your customer agent into your chatflow, as noted in this knowledge base article. According to these steps, this should be possible.
Would you mind providing more context around what you’re seeing within the chatflow settings? Any screenshots you can provide will also be really helpful in getting a better understanding of what may be happening here.
In my experience HubSpot’s Customer Agent is GREAT for customer support tickets but it’s not designed by default to be a sales AI that can convert visitors to leads on your website. You can make it work but there are better 3rd party options.
I found ChatSimple.AI on the HubSpot app marketplace, it is the only certified app that has good reviews. Having implemented it for our own website and for clients, I can say that it’s the best solution out there right now as a AI chatbot with a focus on lead gen and that has a solid HubSpot integration.
