Can Snippets be randomly added to email signatures?

I’m coming to the Community in hopes of an answer! Is there a way to randomly or sequentially have Snippets attached to email signatures?

Example use case: There is a group of snippets that promote content (e.g. blogs, case studies, etc.) that the sales team would like to regularly include in their emails. However, when there are 20+ Snippets, that is impossible (or a very, very long email).

So, is there a way to have one of those 20 Snippets attached to the sender’s email signature without them having to use the hashtag or click the Snippets button in HubSpot, Gmail, or Outlook?

I’m sorry, but HubSpot doesn’t have a feature to randomly add snippets to email signatures. In HubSpot, email signatures usually contain pre-set text and images that don’t change dynamically.

I was thinking that maybe if users frequently use multiple snippets and sometimes need to use them together, they could create snippets within snippets. They could give them simple and short names like 1 or something similar to help them save time.

On another note, I recommend sharing this idea on our ideas forum. It’s a great platform where all ideas for future improvements can be discussed. Ideas with a higher number of votes tend to grab the attention of our product team and have a better chance of being reviewed and potentially implemented in the future.

That’s an interesting use case. What came to mind would be something along the following lines:

  • create properties for the resources’ content
  • in the snippets reference those properties
  • create a custom workflow with some custom code that will rotate the resources and update the value of the snippet
  • use only one snippet with those properties that show the information that’s fed by the workflow.

Do you think something like this can work?

  • I’m not sure this would work for two reasons:
    I don’t build custom code, so I couldn’t implement that.
  • Would this work for emails sent directly out of Outlook and not HubSpot?

maybe you can get external support on building the code :wink:

And as to the Outlook emails, if you have the Hubspot Sales add-in for Hubspot, you can retrieve snippets from that into the emails.

If you’re query relates more to the Outlook functionality though, it might be worth you considering the solution out of Hubspot and using something like Exclaimer. Here’s an article on how you can set up a rotating banner (or any rotating content for that matter) as a part of a signature.

hello Eli, Are you talking about this Exclaimer cloud?? I was going through community and found this thread as i am also interested in purchasing their package for my small business. Just want to know if it is worth the money we are paying for.
