I am logging a meeting that didn’t happen with a prospect. It was scheduled through an external tool, not via my HubSpot meeting link. When I am on his contact page in HubSpot, then go to the Activities > Meetings tab and click Log A Meeting, can he see what I type into the meeting description? Keep in mind this is not a previously scheduled calendar event.

The prospect or any other user who isn’t looking at that record in HubSpot cannot see any details you share. Any meeting, note, call, email, or task that you logged is accessible through HubSpot only and not visible to the contact.
The only way to share meeting details with the contact is by having them schedule a meeting through your HubSpot Meetings link. Even then, all they can see is the meeting description that you have configured within your link settings. Any notes or additional comments that you left on the record afterward would be visible only within HubSpot.
