Can 'Inbox' be used with your personal/work email?

Hi all,

I’m new to hubspot - I really enjoy the look/format of ‘Inbox’ (under CRM) and I’m wondering if there is a way I can utilize this for my personal/work email.

It seems I can only use this for a ‘Team Email’. Is there a way I can view/access my email through this tool?
I would rather not have my own work email visible through our team - please let me know any tips or tricks.

The conversations inbox is indeed meant to be used for team emails and shared channels: A guide to the conversations inbox

While you can set up permissions for who can access an inbox, super admins can always access it and there are no dedicated features for privacy.

Generally, HubSpot assumes that for your personal, non-team emails, you’re using an email client along-side HubSpot, with one of the sales extensions installed: Install HubSpot Sales for Gmail, Office 365, and Outlook desktop | Knowledge Base

I would generally advise against using the conversations inbox for your personal email, it’s simply not designed for that.

@AshleyHicks HubSpot has not announced anything along those lines so far, no.
