Can I trigger a reminder hours before a date property?

I’d like to build a Workflow that sends leads a reminder text an hour before they have a demo scheduled. But when I create a branch based on that future date, I only have the option to trigger an action X days or weeks before that date. Is there a way to trigger a Workflow based on just hours instead of days or weeks?

I verified that the property I’m using has both a date and time attached to it.

Hey @HColwell,

As far as I know, you’re limited to days/weeks for centering on date properties since not all date properties will have a time attached.

My recommendation is using HubSpot Meetings here instead since you can configure any number of reminder emails for weeks, days, hours, and minutes before the scheduled meeting time. Here’s how that could look:

  • You share your HubSpot Meetings link with the contact and let them schedule the desired time
    OR
  • You determine the demo time with the contact over email/phone/text. You then go into incognito mode and fill out your HubSpot Meetings link on behalf of the contact (just be absolutely sure to use incognito mode. You also want to make sure that you haven’t already blocked off the time on your calendar since that would prevent you from booking a meeting through HubSpot at that time)

From there, any reminder emails that you have configured will be sent to the user at the respective time without needing to configure a separate workflow.
