Can I report or see analytics on contact enrichment stats?

I’d like to report on and view activity form our sales team like how many contacts have been enriched as part of their role is to help us build and maintain a clean database.

Is there a report I can build to see updated contact records in general or even by field?

Hi @CharlieRiley4,

I’m not aware of any out-of-the-box functionality that could be used here. If I were to approach it, I’d leverage workflows. (This requires a Professional subscription. Without a Professional subscription, I don’t think this is possible.)

First you would have to decide what exactly enrichment means, e.g. Job title is known AND Buying role is known AND Company size is known. When you have your criteria defined, you could use those as enrollment criteria for a workflow. (Of course there is no saying these these were populated by a user, simply that they’re known.)

Second, I’d recommend creating a custom property, e.g. Enrichment date. In your workflow, you can then use the Set property value action to set this date.

This now allows you to create a report of the Count of contacts by Enrichment date, broken down by Contact owner.

Still an approximation, because the data doesn’t necessarily have to be put in by the contact owner, but the closest we get in HubSpot, I would say, without custom code.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Yes, in HubSpot, you can create reports to track the activity of your sales team and monitor the hubspot data enrichment of contact records. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to the Reports dashboard.
  2. Click on “Create a Report” or “Build Custom Report” (depending on your HubSpot version).
  3. In the report creation interface, select “Contacts” as the object you want to report on.
  4. Choose the desired date range for the report. You can specify a specific time period or select pre-defined options like “This month” or “Last quarter.”
  5. To filter the report for enriched contacts, you need to define specific criteria. Click on the “Add Filter” button.
  6. In the filter options, you can select different properties and criteria to narrow down the report. To track enriched contacts, you may want to select a specific property that represents an enriched field, such as “Phone Number” or “Job Title.” Choose the appropriate property and set the criteria accordingly. For example, you can set the criteria to “is known” or “is not empty” for fields that are considered enriched.
  7. Save the filter, and you will see the updated report displaying the number of contacts that meet your specified criteria.
