I have the home page of the website based on a theme I bought. Now I have created a Child-Theme inheriting from the existing theme.
How can I replace the theme of the home page with the newly created Child-Theme
In the page editor of the page you want to update go to the Settings tab, scroll to and open the Advanced Options section, and then scroll to the Template section. There you’ll click the Use different template button.
It’ll take you to the theme selection page where you’ll select your child theme and then the template from the child theme you want to use. You’ll possibly have to re-add your content as switching themes will likely reset the content of the page (even when it’s a child theme).
