Can I get The Tracking number from shipstation

We have several Shopfy accounts that run through HS and Shipstation. The integrations are great and customers are created when an order is placed and a deal is created that is associated to the customer in HS. What I would like to have is the tracking number populate to that deal record once the status is “shipped”. Any help getting that tracking number into the HS deal would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, @DBrown5 :waving_hand: I don’t have the answer, but I do have some clarifying questions :blush::

  • Is the tracking number a property that is passed from ShipStation to Shopify?
  • If so, is ShipStation directly integrated with HubSpot? Or just to Shopify?

I ask because I do not see tracking number as a field that syncs via the Shopify Integration. Nor in the Knowledge base—Shopify Integration > Edit Field Mappings. Have you looked into the ShipStation Data Sync? And I am admittedly not too familiar with the finer details of Shopify.

Hello @DBrown5,

You can achieve this by-

  • Firstly, create a custom deal property.
  • Secondly, check the internal name of the tracking id by Shipstation in the Shopify order fields.
  • Lastly, map the newly created property with the internal name of the tracking id by Shipstation.
