I would like for each of my 1000+ contacts to be assigned a deal. I would prefer each one to have their own deal, but if they all have the same deal, that is okay. I haven’t found a way to do this. Is there a way? Is there a workaround?

@MFrankJohnson is correct that the most direct way to associate contacts with deals is through workflows. This tool is part of paid subscriptions, however.
A solution available for free subscriptions is outlined here. If this is something you’re interested in, please let me know.
Depending on your subscriptions at the moment (and in the future) will inform what is the best option for you.
