+1, need the ability to update call types via the logged call on the CRM record. Often times, reps will accidentally choose the wrong type, or go too fast and leave it blank. Being able to update call types is imperative for proper call reporting.
This is insane that this is still an outstanding issue. There needs to be a warning that changing the field is not retrospective and will break all automations and reports. I have over 600 meetings that I now have to manually update. This is ridiculous!
Another +1, I’ve put it off long enough but now have to go through and update hundreds of meeting types because absolutely no business is static and processess change. I wonder how HubSpot deals with this?
Would LOVE the ability to either bulk update meeting types or have meeting types retroactively update when changed - its really throwing off our reporting
Another + 1 here. It’s very difficult to report meetings without ability to bulk edit old meeting types.
I feel like we’re gettting close to updating old meeting types in bulk now that we have a Meetings index page. However, when you select meetings from the list, you can’t edit properties yet like you can with contact, companies, deals, and tickets. Go to your contacts index page, click the dropdown in the top left corner and find Meetings. Getting so close HubSpot!
This is very much needed. Was first surprised to see that this doesnot exists by default and then shocked to see that it has been more than 6 years that it is in idea submitted.
+1 need this ability, especially since there is no easy way to mass-update 30,000 meetings that have a given type - mapping old type to a new type is also not scalable as all filters that use this type would have to be altered (amongst views, reports, workflows etc.)
