Hi,

I’m new to Hubspot but familier with developing.

I understand that I need to first create a developer account.

After doing that I guess a webhook needed to be created , but when selecting “which object types” I cannot see there the quote object.

Hope for some guidance regarding the steps to achive calling an external API after qutoe record created.

TIA

Hey, @RSlifkin 👋 Thanks for your questions. To your first question, you are not missing an option for [Webhook Subscriptions](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/webhooks#webhook-subscriptions) and the Quote object. If you are using Webhook Subscriptions, you would need to look at the Deal or Line Item subscriptions instead.

Hey, @louischausse @Teun [@Mike\_Eastwood](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/9259), do you have any wisdom you can share with @RSlifkin?

Thank you! — Jaycee

Hi @RSlifkin ,
What [@Jaycee\_Lewis](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/127074) is suggesting could work depending on the use case, but if you specifically want to trigger a webhook when a amount property is changed on a quote you could use workflows (needs Operations Hub Pro or Operations Hub Enterprise - You don’t need a developer portal to do this. You can do this in the production portal)

1. Go to Automation \> Workflow \> Create new \> from scratch \> Quote based workflow
2. Build this:

3. Alternatively, if you don’t want to set up a server and a route to handle your webhook you can call the external api right from a custom coded action in the workflow:

This is way easier than setup an with webhooks subscription.
