I am a BDR/ appointment setter. My main task is outbound calling but does get inbound calls from time to time. It would be great to have a Caller ID Feature in HubSpot Browser so that we will be informed of who the caller is and potentially research in advance on what they might need. It is just awkward to receive calls and prospects tell you “you should know who I am, you’re the one who called.”
To add to your suggestion: I would love to have a desktop notification showing the caller ID when someone calls my colleagues via Teams!
We just recently started using the “Show Caller ID” feature for the Android HubSpot app and people immediately wanted to have that for their desktop (not browser) environment. Is anything like that in planning?
We have the exact same problem. In some cases, we systematically call hundreds of contacts in large teams. If one of the contacts calls back, the introduction to the call is very bumpy because we can’t identify the caller at first. This is fatal to making a good first impression.
It would be brilliant if the contacts were displayed in advance when calls are made. Basically, this is how it is already done in the Hubspot app on the smartphone.
