Hello dear Hubspotters!
In my company we have two instances during our customer journey where we schedule meetings.
In order to minimize the ‘no-show’ rate we would like to add an “add to calendar”- link to all the email invites.
The emails are transactional emails and the date and timestamp are sent from another system into hubspot properties and then displayed in the email.
Has anyone managed to find a solution for this? I’ve been looking around, but I’ve only seen solutions for adding a specific event or manually creating the event. We’re sending around 1000 meeting confirmations / month which makes the above solutions unviable for us.
Hi @MarkusJ! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here
I understand you are looking to include an “add to calendar” link in your transactional emails, correct? As you mentioned, this is possible for individual events, but it would be manual for each email which I understand is not ideal (Knowledge Base article). That said, there is no current default tool to add that type of button to your emails via HubSpot. We have some similar ideas on our Ideas Forum so I highly recommend checking those out and adding your use case to help it gain traction!
There may be some third-party or custom-coded options, so I would love to invite some of our experts for any suggestions! @karstenkoehler, @HubSpot_Corey, @Phil_Vallender any workarounds that you have come across to insert a dynamic ‘add to calendar’ button in transactional emails? Thanks y’all!
Best,
Kennedy
I’ll follow up on my own issue with a solution
We found a provider called AddEvent that could provide us with this service.
With this provider we basically created a long link with the information that should be in the calendar invite by using workflow and adding it to the email button on emails going out.
