Hello,

One of my CTAs have a slight misalignment/ padding issue (see image below) and I cannot work out how to fix it, all my other buttons are fine.
I have tried the following:

- changed padding and alignment of this specific CTA in the CTA builder (marketing\> lead capture\> CTAs) Edit \> Advanced options.
- In the design tools, current theme folder ive check the following for padding and alignment and everything looks fine:
  - elements \> buttons\_css
  - modules\> customisable-button

Anyone got any idea what the issue might be? I am new to Hubspot and struggling to find all the settings and code for different things.

Hi @KhanyaP,

Before handling with code I’d recommend to check the theme settings.

Here is how to access them: [Edit theme settings](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/website-and-landing-pages/edit-your-theme-settings)

Since it seems like a blog button there might be specific button settings included in your theme. Or somebody “hardcoded” something somewhere in a file…

By default the “best pracitise”/“boilerplate” approach is:

- write all static code into several smaller CSS files
- combine those CSS files in the main.css file which should be located in your CSS folder
- add all types of options the user should have the ability to modify in the fields.json of the theme
- put all those options in the theme-override.css file which should also be located in the CSS folder

But I’ve seen (and also working currently) with other approaches - so a preview link to the page/blog would be fantastic

best,

Anton

Hi Anton

Thank you so much for your response.

The theme setting all look fine to me, what is strange it that the top/ bottom padding are different but in all the general editors there is only one field to edit vertical padding, that is why I thought it must be in the code somewhere.

This is the link to the blog where the CTA is wonky [Upcoming changes to MFA to further protect your business](https://blog.numata.co/upcoming-changes-to-mfa-to-further-protect-your-business)

Thanks again,
