button color

Am I understanding this right, I can’t change the button color with a free account?

Hi @MThomas96,

Which button exactly? Are you referring to a button in an email, on a landing page, a CTA…?

CTAs are a paid feature, but regular button colors are changeable in free portals:

If you’re referring to changing the colors of the HubSpot UI to your preferences, then no, this is not possible in general.

Best regards

This is a submit button on a landing page.

@MThomas96 could you please share a bit more detail? Do you have a screenshot of the missing options in the editor? Which template are you using?

Without that kind of input, community members like myself won’t be able to help.

This doesn’t sound right. Can you provide more details into your specific issue? Is this with emails, landing pages, website pages? It is possible that some templates, especially in the free plan may be restritive and prevent you from editing all features, but tpyically button colors are editable.

However with that said, the free account at Hubspot is very restrictive with limitations that are not the same as the full plan and while they are offered free, they more closely resemble a trial rather than free usage. For instance, the spam/bounce policy is much more strict and bans that take place on the free accounts can be permanent. I would only recommend the free version of Hubspot for basic testing and only begin true sales and marketing once you upgrade to the basic starter plans.

Greetings @MThomas96,

In free version styling options would seems not avaialble for forms. If I try it takes to pricing page inititiating to buy, something like below screenshot:

However for landing page I guess you can, either you might be trying changing button backround color from here, and possibly the template that you’d have selected have are not allowing to override the color from here.

So might be changing from here(global theme style) would work and possibly change the button color in your landing page:

Hope this helps, if it does then help the community by marking it as a solution.

Happy HubSpotting.

Thanks & Regards,
