# Bulk task updating via import

It would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to update existing tasks in bulk through a CSV import. This would save a lot of time when we need to assign tasks to different owners, or update statuses across multiple records. Currently, this has to be done manually or through workflows with limitations. Adding this feature would streamline task management for many users.

Totally agree @RomalynR - this is pretty common.  
Right now, you can use Coefficient to automate this, it’s a certified 2-way spreadsheet connector on HubSpot’s app marketplace. ([Coefficient for HubSpo](https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/coefficient)t)

You can export your tasks, make bulk updates in Google Sheets or Excel, and sync those changes back into HubSpot.

Not native, but it gets the job done fast. And you can automate all of it in probably half an hour, or 5-10 minutes if you already have all of the logic for reassignments built out in your spreadsheet.

I want to second this. Even with workflow updates, it would be much easier to run a custom report pulling in data from associations and the do a quick export to excel, update, and import back in using tasks record ID to match and make chagnes. I can’t believe this isn’t a feature available, at least for super admin users.  
Would take about 5 minutes versus the time I have to do to make changes to a workflow every time rules change.
