Hello HubSpot community,
I am trying to build a report that shows the amount of contacts that have unsubscribed from each individual subscription type. I was able to build a report that displays one subscription type, but I’d like to see all of our subscription types along the x axis. It won’t let me add more than one option there.
Any suggestions?

Thank you for those suggestions. I want to visualize the numbers which is why I am trying to make a report instead of a list. I don’t care when they opted out; I just want to see the totals across the different subscription types. If there is no way to do that in a report, I suppose I could manually create it, but then it wouldn’t update automatically. Is the x axis restricted to just one option when it comes to subscription types?

Hey @samantha_c. I don’t see a way to do this, so I don’t think HubSpot offers a built-in report that shows unsubscribe totals across multiple subscription types in a single view.
I was thinking abiout other solutions, and here’s a short list of ideas, although I thknk the real answer is to submit this as a feature request in the Ideas Forum.
First, I wonder if creating separate reports for each subscription type and combining them manually would work? Or if they’re all separate, they could go on a dashboard. But I’m also struggling to find subscription types as a property we can report on…
Use the Marketing Email Analytics feature and filter by the “Unsubscribed from this email” metric for each subscription type separately. The problem is that I don’t think this is what you’re looking for, and it would quickly become out of date.
Maybe you could build a custom dataset with derived fields to calculate unsubscribe rates and associate them with the correct subscription types. I saw this in some research I did, in another Community question, but I think it’s mostly focused on campaign analytics.
Create a workflow that sets a custom date property like ‘Unsubscribe date’ when a contact unsubscribes. You could then use this property in a report to track unsubscribes over time.
For a simpler solution, you may need to create list for each subscription type and export them to manually compile the data into a spreadsheet or other visualization tool to see all subscription types side by side.
I hope this gives some inspiration for exaclty what you’re looking for. I wish it was a simple report that just existed!
