In the goal attainment column there is a sum of goals for the team/users/pipeline viewed. However, it only includes users who already have created a deal for the period viewed. It should show the sum of all user goals, regardless if the user has created a deal yet.
Example:
I am in Q1 but viewing Q2 for TeamX who has 4 members, each with a goal of $250K. So TeamX has a goal of $1M for Q2. But this is not what the Forecast shows in the goal attainment column. Instead it shows the sum of goals only for those users who have created a deal for Q2 (which is not all as we are in Q1). If only 1 user of the 4 in TeamX has created a deal in Q2, the goal attainment shows a TeamX goal of $250K rather than the correct $1M. If 2 users, then it shows 500K and so forth. But that is intuitively wrong. TeamX’s goal for Q2 is $1M based purely on their goals, regardless of how many have started creating deals for that quarter.
I completely agree to this bug. This is skewing the overall monthly goal figures if the user has no deal in the pipeline for the forecast period. Product team could you work on this at the earliest.
Yes, in my case it looks like commercial goals are not showed properly when you add a second metric.
For example : estimated amount per month and per sales rep, the goals do not show up properly, it usually gets flat from today (and works in the period before).
While it works perfectly if I show only total amount vs. goals.
