Hello,
I recently created and published a website in Hubspot. For some reason the browser tab says home and not the name of the Website. Does anybody know how to correct it? i have included a picture. Thank you
@Mhachmann happy to help with updating the page name in the browser tab.
From Content > Website Pages, choose your Home page and open it in the page editor.
Then click Settings > General
And change the Page title to what you want to display in the browser tab:
The Internal page name can be whatever you’d like, such as Home, and won’t display anywhere on your live website.
Thank you. Your suggestion was simple enough to execute. However, it did not solve the problem. It still says home on browser tab. Any other suggestions?
Thank Yoy
You’re welcome @Mhachmann, I checked your website and it looks like it’s not updated in the code yet.
After you save the change in the settings, did you click Update to republish the page?
Thank You for the advice. I was to execute the instructions that you
suggested. However, they did not fix the problem. Is there anything else
that you know of that I could try?
Thank you
Thank you. That did it. I appreicte the help
you’re welcome @Mhachmann, sorry I didn’t make it clear in my initial answer that you’d need to republish. I’m glad it’s working now!
Thank you for trying the suggested steps. If the issue persists, ensure the <title> tag in your HTML has the correct text, and clear your browser cache to refresh any stored data. Check if JavaScript is dynamically setting the title using document.title and test the site in a different browser or device. If you’re using a CMS or SEO plugin, verify the page title settings. Let me know if further assistance is needed!
