Previously, there was a feature in the Sales Workspace where Super Admins with an assigned Sales Seat could click on a dropdown to view the Sales Workspace as another user. Recently, this feature was removed, and now the only way for Super Admins to view it as another user is to have Enterprise and access it via the ‘log in as another HubSpot user’ feature.
This feature was incredibly valuable to customers, and bringing it back directly in the Sales Workspace would be beneficial to many users.
I agree! The new Sales Workspace is great to consolidate data and bring the rest of the CRM functionality into the platform, however removing the ability to switch between users directly from the Workspace as an admin of senior leadership is a massive step backwards. I don’t want to give admin rights to senior leadership just to give them the ability to login as a different user. This feature needs to be brought back.
We would love if this was brought back. It was very easy to review who and how the workspace was being used. Additionally, this feature allowed us easier access to support users.
I noticed today this occurs when I opted into the New Workspace setting. When I turned it off, the functionality to view other users returned. Anyone else validate this? I did send a note to our CSM advising as we discussed this on our last call this week.
We also need this feature back so that we can give users the ability to view others’ workspace without being a Super Admin of the entire account, especially team managers who only need to monitor their department and don’t need access to all the other HS admin features, for both convenience and security.
I completely agree - This is a product downgrade. The UI within workspace is not replicated elsewhere and I can only think this streamlines Hubspot dev work. I have complained about this and they referred me here, so they are aware of these opinions. I would encourage everyone to post and upvote.
I also can’t believe the solution proposed was an upgrade to Enterprise subscription (switching login to my team) - thanks Hubspot, but no. Not only is this a complete time waste, but I have a distinct feeling this is a complete sales play and really poor form by them.
Could not agree more - we do not have the ablity to log in as another user in our organization due to single-sign on protocol. This was a valuable tool and it was critically important to our team leaders for improved visibiloity and accountability.
This feature was so helpful and widely used by our sales leadership in coaching meetings. They didn’t have to filter each tab to the specific user; one filter and it was all updated. This way, they were both looking at the same dashboard, too.
Yeah this is a must have. Not just for sales managers but Partner Admins that have to periodically troubleshoot processes and create guidance for HubSpot users.
