I just created a new hubspot account and I added my first contact which is my work address. As soon as I added it was flagged as “Contact has bounced globally” and I cannot send one-to-one emails to this account from hubspot.
Is there any way to fix this from Hubspot or from my side?
Is this by any change this related to DMARC settings with Hubspot?
Global bounces are contacts who have bounced with a permanent reason (such as unknown user or mailbox full) across three or more HubSpot accounts. They cannot be unbounced and are excluded from future email sends in all HubSpot accounts. Using a DMARC policy doesn’t have any effect on that.
If you have a paid HubSpot subscription, HubSpot support might be able to remove the global bounces. Before that, I’d encourage you to work with your IT department to make sure that HubSpot is not blocklisted in any way: Understand why contacts didn't receive marketing emails (Otherwise they’ll just bounce again right away.)
I have the same behaviour. New contacts created with validated email addresses that Hubspot has immediately flagged as Global Bounces without an email being sent. And before anyone asks - this is a paid account.
Hello @tabubil , I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real time assistance for this matter, including hopping on a screenshare if necessary.
