Hello community,

I wondered if the bot filtering feature is able to exclude mail auto replies (like out of office messages during vacation) from the open rate statistic?

Or if an email auto reply would still count as opened? (As it did in the past, as far as I know)

Thanks for the help in advance,

Fabian

Hey @DerFabian unfortunately this isn’t possible at the moment.

Bot filtering works from the IP address, so if an IP address is known to be a bot or automatic software it is filtered. An Out of office will be from the same system as a regular email sent by that user, it’s just automatically triggered.

Unfortunately I’m not aware of any robust way to handle this right now, but it’s something that’s being asked for a lot!

Thank you for the explanation!
