Hello Hubspot team,
Can someone explain what is the point of offering a round corners option in your landing page designer, if it doesn’t actually act on the picture itself? But only on the border of the frame?
Althought being just one of the many poorly executed features on Hubspot, this one tops them all so far.
Hey @albertobonino - thanks for posting in the Community!
Would you mind posting a link to one or two of your landing pages, as well as a screenshot of the settings in that page so that we can take a look at the behavior from both a front-end and back-end perspective?
Additionally, I’d like to tag in some experts in the meantime to see if they have any insight that may prove helpful. @alyssamwilie, @evaldas, and @ashleyidesign - any thoughts here?

Hey @albertobonino,
just checked the HS default settings. Couldn’t find anything like this settings.
This can only mean that it’s a bug in the theme you’re using.
Unless it’s Elevate or Growth, HubSpot is not responsible for this but rather the theme creator.
If you bought/downloaded the theme from the marketplace, you should be able to find the contact information on the Marketplace download page of your portal..
If it’s a custom theme that was created by a dev just for you, you should be able to contact this person or find a new dev.
best,
Anton
Hey Anton,
The theme I’m using is Elevate. Any other option here? thx
hmm, with Elevate it’s a bit more complicated than with a regular (HubL) theme, as it’s the first React based theme and utilizing CMS Projects.
Not saying that it’s not customizable, but it’s not as easy, “straight forward” and “non-dev” friendly as with HubL themes as CMS Projects aren’t accessible/editable via Design-Manager. This is one of the main reasons why I don’t use CMS Projects/React themes for client work.
There are two ways how you can modify Elevate
1. Go the dev route:
- Set up a local development environment
- Fetch the CMS project
- Apply the changes
- Compile/upload the project back to your portal
2. Go the “tech. marketer” route:
- Create an empty theme via design manager
- add “extends” : “@hubspot/elevate” to the theme.json file
- add all required files/modules to it
- modify it to your needs
Here’s the link to the public Elevate GitHub repo if you want to check it out.
Other options you might want consider:
- Join the HS developer slack and post in the #ask-cms channel about this bug/misbehaviour. There are some HS devs who are working on the Elevate theme in this channel. Might grab their attention and they fix it
- Look for a React developer who’s trusted
- Ask Ai. There’s a Developer MCP Server (not HubSpot MCP Server) which might be helpful here.
Hope this helps
Best,
Anton
Hi Shane,
This is one of the landing pages. Again, you won’t find rounded corners as it doesn’t work. The theme I’m using is elevate.
In general, please please plase improve the landing page designer. It is terrible. When switching between div blocks and container/sections, the left bar constantly appear and desappear. This isn’t a bug, it is something developed by Hubspot that makes no sense at all and make the user experience painful.
Please do something about it guys
Hi there @albertobonino,
Thank you for posting to the Community! We hear you. I would highly recommend posting this in our Ideas Forum, as this is a place where users can share suggestions and feedback directly with our product team, and other community members can vote on ideas they’d like to see implemented.
Thank you!
