Blog Posts Not Showing Up in Google Search

Hi all,

I am just reaching out with a question regarding one of our new clients blog posts not showing up in search results, but the blog listing page is showing up instead. For example we did a blog post on “curb appeal” with a certain product and when I searched for it on Google the blog listing page popped up with the preview text below with the post title, but you have to click on the listing page and then go to the post. For our other clients we have been able to go to the blog post directly, but for some reason, all of these blog posts are under the blog listing page and not directly linking to the blog. Is there anyway to fix this? Is it because the blog is only 2 and 1/2 months old?

Let me know!

Thanks.

Could be many factors: overall domain authority factors like age of the site/blog/domain/backlinks/etc. I’m going to assume you have already ruled out a noindex on page that would prevent the listing. The fact that the listing is showing up is a good sign though. You could ask Google or other search engines to recrawl your site in case something was missed at first as well ( Ask Google to Recrawl Your Website | Google Search Central  |  Documentation  |  Google for Developers ).

Thank you! I am going to look into recrawling the site. Thanks!
