Blog Posts not Appearing in Google Search

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m encountering an issue with my blog posts not showing up on Google search results, and I’m seeking some guidance from the HubSpot community. Despite my attempts to troubleshoot, I haven’t been able to resolve the problem.

Here are the details:

Observations and actions taken:

  1. XML Sitemap: I have updated the XML sitemap to include the blog post URL, and it appears that the link has been successfully indexed.
  2. Page Indexing: According to Google Search Console, the page is indexed. However, despite being indexed, the blog post does not show up in search results.
  3. Referring Page: The referring page is listed as “Non-Detected” in Google Search Console.

I have tried various searches in Google to locate the blog post, but it simply does not appear, regardless of the search terms used.

I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this issue. My goal is to ensure that my blog posts are properly indexed and rank in Google search results.

Hi @Kest , happy to help - it looks like there is no issue with the indexing of the article, if you search your brand name and the article title, it is the first result on the SERP:

Depending on the search terms you are testing, it is most likely that your page isn’t ranking for those terms. I recommend testing in an incognito browser to verify and using a tool like SEMRush to see where you are actually ranking so you don’t have to manually check the SERPs.
