Beta testers wanted: Send emails through Resend from HubSpot Workflows

Hi HubSpot Community,

I’m the developer of Email Event Sync, a new HubSpot app that adds Resend email actions directly to HubSpot Workflows.

HubSpot already provides automated marketing email actions for eligible marketing contacts. These are a strong fit for newsletters, campaigns, and other marketing communications managed within HubSpot.

Email Event Sync complements that functionality for teams that use Resend as their email delivery platform and want to trigger transactional or operational emails from their existing HubSpot automation.

With the app, users can:

  • Send HTML or plain-text emails through Resend
  • Send Resend templates with variables
  • Personalize messages using HubSpot contact properties
  • Add CC, BCC, Reply-To, tags, topics, and HubSpot file attachments
  • Record sent, delivered, opened, clicked, and bounced events on the HubSpot contact timeline
  • Optionally log the message as an email activity on the contact record

This keeps the Workflow orchestration and contact context in HubSpot while using Resend for email delivery.

I’m currently looking for a small number of beta users who already use both HubSpot and Resend. I’d especially appreciate feedback on the installation process, Workflow action configuration, and the information shown in contact timeline events.
