We’re looking for 3–5 testers for a new app we’re getting ready to release. It’s a client time tracker we built for our own consulting work, and after a few clients asked to use it too we’re opening it up.
If you’d like to take part, drop a reply here — if it works out for both of us, you’ll get free access for a year. Exact pricing hasn’t been set yet.
What it does today:
- Persistent time tracker — start/stop from a chip in the nav on any page, with a memo field for “what you’re working on”
- Two-way HubSpot company sync — pull your existing HubSpot companies in with one click; edits flow both ways (name, website, address, phone)
- Auto-create companies in HubSpot when you add a new client here, so the two stay in step
- Invoices — generate branded PDF invoices from tracked hours in seconds; logo, address, payment terms and footer are all yours
- Paid / unpaid / overdue — mark invoices paid, flag overdue ones, and see at a glance how many hours you’ve worked but not yet billed
- Team support — invite employees who track their own time; owners see all activity across the team
- Reports — hours and earnings broken down by client or team member, for any week / month / year
- In-app feedback — file bugs and feature requests directly from a menu; we get pinged, and you can upvote each other’s ideas
What we’re looking for from you: use it for real work over a couple of weeks and tell us where it feels wrong or where a feature is missing.
Reply here if interested.
Hi @ArtificialEmots
This looks like a well-thought-out tool, especially since it was built from your own consulting workflow first. I think that’s often how the best apps are created.
The two-way HubSpot sync caught my attention. One question I have is whether you have any plans to expand the integration beyond Companies to include Deals or Contacts. I could see that being really useful for agencies that want to track time against active client projects.
Wishing you the best with the beta launch I hope you get some valuable feedback from the testers
Hi @Emmytech
Thanks for the encouragement.
I’d considered contacts, as in adding a specific contact to receive the invoice. HubSpot doesn’t allow sending emails from external apps unless you have transactional emails but most consultants (or even companies) won’t have that.
The other method is to build integrations to Gmail, Microsoft etc and then get the user to enter their BCC email address supplied by HubSpot - one time minimal setup on the user end.
That’s an interesting idea about deals and tracking billing against specific deals. If you tell me more about how you’d like this to work, I could consider this feature.
Hi @ArtificialEmots
What I had in mind for Deals is the ability to associate tracked time with a specific HubSpot Deal, not just a Company. That way, agencies or consultants working on multiple projects for the same client could keep the time entries separate.
For example, if a client has an implementation project and an ongoing support retainer, each could have its own deal. Team members could log time against the relevant deal, and when it’s time to invoice, the app could generate an invoice based only on the hours linked to that deal.
I think it would also make reporting more useful, since users could compare estimated revenue or deal value against the actual time spent on each engagement.
Just a thought, but I could see that being valuable for agencies and service businesses that manage several active projects for the same client.

Hi @ArtificialEmots,
Thanks for sharing! It’s always great to see the community working on new tools!
If you’re looking to get your app listed in the HubSpot Marketplace, the good news is there’s a clear path to make that happen. HubSpot has documentation that walks you through the full submission process, including the requirements and steps to get your app published. You can find everything you need here: HubSpot App Marketplace Developer Docs
Once you’re listed, it’ll be a great way to get more visibility and connect with potential testers organically through the Marketplace too. Hope that helps — good luck with the launch!
