With the new public beta, we are looking to find out if the new bot-excluded rates also correspond over to workflows that use email opens or clicks as a metrics.
Meaning, if the open is identified as being bot related, will it not enroll that person in the workflow that looks at opens to trigger it?
Similarly, if I look at a person’s record history related to a marketing email, will we see the bot opens/clicks alongside the other engagements? (Or will they be labeled in anyway.)
Hi @AJackson90,
Thank you for asking the Community!
So that we can help you the best we can, could you please share the name of the Beta you are using, please?
Is it the “Marketing Email (BETA)”?
The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
Once I know exactly which Beta you are referring to, I’ll check internally for you.
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Best,
Bérangère
Hi @AJackson90,
Thank you for the additional information!
I checked for you and workflows and properties on the contact record will use the existing properties (“last marketing email open date”, “last marketing email click date”, “sends since last engagement”, etc.).
These properties will reflect your account’s bot filtering setting status.
This means that if the setting is on, those properties will omit bot filtering. If the setting is off, those properties will include bot engagement.
The Beta doesn’t create a new contact property. At the moment, it’s just displaying the metric on the marketing email performance report.
I hope this helps!
Thank you and have a fantastic day!
Best,
Bérangère
