The best way to connect is to engage with the content. Give some upvotes, provide value in threads where you have some additional options or color to add, or post questions yourself to start with.
We do have the ability to direct message in the forum, but if I were you I would wait until you’ve engaged in the public spaces a few times before sending a DM. I tend to view DM’s from contacts I haven’t already interacted with with a healthy amount of skepticism - the same as I would on LinkedIn or another forum.
If you engage often enough, you may be invited to the Champions program, which will open up additional opportunities for connecting. You don’t necessarily need to get accepted solutions to get there either. Just engage.
