We use Sales Hub Professional and Marketing Hub with contacts, companies, deals, and segments. We’re trying to track another layer: small teams within our customers’ companies.
These are teams of external contacts, not our internal HubSpot users.
A company might have several named teams, each with roughly 5 to 12 people. Everyone on a team works for the same company, but they might be spread out across different offices. Each person generally belongs to just one team.
For example, a company might have a team of 10 people across 3 offices. 2 of them are customers of ours, and the other 8 are potential customers. I identify each contact based on their life cycle stage, and we’d like to be able to
open up a company and see its teams
which team members are on them
identify the teams where we have a couple of customers and room to expand within the team
find opportunities for introductions and referrals through the existing customers
A visual relationship map would be helpful, but I just want a way to categorize, sort, and track all of the teams within a company.
What’s the best way to structure this with our current professional subscriptions?
Thank you very much for your advice and insights. I’ve been struggling with this and want to get it right!
Thanks for the message, really pleased to hear your enjoying the Buying Groups feature. Thank you @karstenkoehler for answering the first question and making Ian aware of the functionality.
We have a brand new Private BETA (which you can join here) , which works with Breeze to help with the initial assemble and pulling in the most relevant contacts based on activity and previous deal patterns. So very helpful when you have many contacts in a parent company and you want to see the most relevant to you. It’s super powerful . Short demo here:
