Best way to keep consistency in Contacts data

We’re trying to use HS CRM as our single source of truth for Customer data, altough we have some work going on outside the inbound funnel, and we need to weekly update some information, or add new contacts.
How do you suggest to operate?
If the answer is CSV Bulk update, is it possible to update records based on email?!

For contact records, you can update the records based on email address. More information here.

Hi @zerho1,

I regularly import information into HubSpot (I actually have it as a weekly recurring task) to ensure HubSpot is my truth!

I don’t currently do this, as matching just on email works fine for me, but you can export from HS including Contact ID, then choose the option when re-importing also to match on Contact ID - Deduplicate records in HubSpot

This gives an extra layer of certainty that the correct records are being updated when you re-import.
