Best Practices - List Syncing

Hi @GWalsh
Quick 2025 update. There’s still no native “list-to-list” sync between Dynamics 365 and HubSpot.
The HubSpot-built app syncs records and fields, not lists, though it now also lets you create Dynamics sales orders from HubSpot deals or workflows (Connect HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365).

What works cleanly is a tag pattern. Enroll members of your HubSpot list into a workflow and set one multi-select property like Segments = “Webinar Jun 2025”. Map that to Dynamics and rebuild your segment there as a view or marketing list
Same idea in reverse: keep a flag in Dynamics and let HubSpot build an active list from that synced field. The action you’ll use is “Set property value” (Choose your workflow actions).

If this is about webinars or events, lean on Marketing Events instead of CSVs. Zoom, GoToWebinar, and Eventbrite push registrants and attendees straight into HubSpot so your segmentations stay fresh (Use marketing events).

For what it’s worth, we built Stacksync for this exact gap. We carry segment flags both ways in real time without one field per list, and teams usually cut integration busywork by ~40%
