Best Practice For Aquiring Newsletter Contacts

In order to collect newsletter subscriptions we have a form that generates new contacts. However, when I want to send a newsletter I have to select the contacts individually, I can’t just say send it to all my contacts. I can also choose a list, but the contacts are not in a list by default. I could manually add them to a static list, but that would just be Sisyphos work since it would be necessary for every new newsletter. There are automations that could do that, but not in the free version.

So what’s the best practice for this? Or is HubSpot the wrong tool for classic newsletter marketing?

Hi @Cyman

You can absolutely ahcieve this with HubSpot. You will need to build a list using a filter that has pulled in people that have filled in that form and then send the email to that list.
When creating a list, you can chose the ‘form submission’ filter and then choose the form you want to look at.
