Yo marketers,
I’ve just wrapped up my first email campaign plan as part of the HubSpot course, figured I’d share it here and see what the pros think.
🧠 Goal: Build hype around a new digital product
🎯 Audience: First-time buyers who love productivity hacks
📩 Sequence:
1. Welcome Vibes – quick intro, why this product matters
2. Value Drop – key benefits, no fluff
3. Proof Game – testimonials, mini case study
4. Final Push – limited-time offer to seal the deal
Trying to keep it clean, punchy, and conversion-focused. If you’ve got tips, tricks, or brutal honesty, hit me. I’m here to level up.

I like the structure but one important thing to remember is it’s about YOU (the recipient), not ME (the company).
Email 1 is focussed on why this product matters. Who cares? There are a million products out there. I personally think you should be more focussed on explaining and introducing the end-user problem. For example, show that you relate to the end user’s countless hours of frustration and mundane tasks - did you know there’s an easy productivity solution to this? Just pay X and this problem goes away…
Email 2 is very me, me, me. No-one cares about benefits. Everyone cares why it benefits THEM. You get X which solves Y.
Email 3 - Tweak this to relevant case studies about them… Testimonials ‘from people like you’. If you can dynamically change this to the end-user - great!

Thanks for the feedback, seriously helpful.
You’re totally right about shifting the focus from “me” to “you.” I was thinking more like a brand, but I see now how important it is to speak directly to the reader’s pain points and goals. I’ll rework Email 1 to start with the problem and lead into the solution.
Also love the idea of making the testimonials feel personal and relatable. I’ll try to frame them as “people like you” instead of just generic praise.
Appreciate the push, this is exactly the kind of insight I came here for.
