Issue: currently it is impossible to add a column in a contact list with the information contained in ‘Email subscription status’. To check that data you only have to options:
1. going in the individual contact pages and checking one by one … great when you have hundreds of thousands of emails
2. Use filters in a contact list to select each individual type of subscription or each combination of multiple subscription combinations… also great when you have many of these
Solution requested : be able to add the ‘Email subscription status’ as a column in a list
Could you elaborate a bit more on why would you like to see the email subscription status? Are you trying to see how many contacts within a list have opted in?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Today it is impossible to get a list with all contacts and for each, the different optins that they have subscribed over time.
The reason to have this data is to easily check what optin statusses contacts have in a single view in order to take corrective measures in case of issues. ex: Conflicting optin’s / opt-outs. People that have subscribed to ‘all communications’ but opt-out of a specific communication will still receive all communications. In our account a contact can have up to 7 different type of optins but these are not directly connected with each other.
Also, opt-in status is one of the only property you cannot see as a colomn in a List which is very strange.
