# Batch Associations

Good day,

I was wondering if there was currently a way to easily query batch associations between 2 object types (ex: deals-\>contacts) instead of having to iterate through all known objects.  
This would greatly reduce our processing load

Hi, @SBurwash 👋 The closest fit we have is this legacy endpoint — [Create multiple associations between CRM objects](https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/crm-associations/batch-associate-objects). Please note:

- There is not a v3/v4 equivalent
- This endpoint is limited to objects with a value of HUBSPOT\_DEFINED
- Definitions can be found here — [Association definitions](https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/crm-associations/crm-associations-overview#:~:text=with%20buying%20decisions.-,Association%20definitions,-Associations%20are%20defined)
- Legacy endpoints are stable and supported unless explicitly flagged for deprecation

I understand why a batch version of the v3 and v4 Associations endpoints would be helpful. Thanks for the prompt response! This endpoint is made for creating multiple associations though, and not querying them, no?
