Following the instructions in the developer documentation, I’ve installed hubspot cli (v7.8.0)

Calling

hs get-started

gives an error

[ERROR] A hubspot.config.yml file could not be found

Calling

hs init

or

hs account auth

gives a massive node.js error, the detailMessage is ‘The request was bad.’

Looks like the failure is calling POST [https://api.hubapi.com/content/filemapper/v1/cms-cli-usage](https://api.hubapi.com/content/filemapper/v1/cms-cli-usage)

I’ve tried that in a REST client with the payload extracted from the error message and I get a 202 OK response

Any help?

Hey @iBos,

Can you share your Node version?

HubSpot CLI v8.0.0 and later require Node.js 20 or higher.

Reference: [Install the HubSpot CLI - HubSpot docs](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/developer-tooling/local-development/hubspot-cli/install-the-cli#install-dependencies)

Further reference about hs init command: [HubSpot CLI commands overview - HubSpot docs](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/developer-tooling/local-development/hubspot-cli/reference#hs-init-command)

Please check whether this is the issue.

Regards,
