**Problem:**
The availability control is visible across [Inbox](https://app-ap1.hubspot.com/live-messages/442280394) and Help Desk, but changing status isn’t consistently available from every view. That’s confusing because the same pull-down appears globally in the top right corner of the screen.

**Why it matters:**
Users expect availability to be a global control. If it’s shown on every view, they should be able to update status from every view without leaving what they’re working on.

**Requested change:**
Allow users to change their own availability from the same status pull-down anywhere it appears in HubSpot.

**Business impact:**
Fewer clicks, less context switching, and fewer missed status updates for service teams.
